This month has seen the launch to the marketplace of European Waterways’ 2015 Brochure, featuring a choice of luxury hotel barge cruises in nine European countries – France, Belgium, Italy, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany, Scotland, England and Ireland.
It’s the end of golf’s fabled Ryder Cup in Scotland, but for avid golfers, the game never ends. European Waterways, Europe’s largest luxury hotel barge cruising company, has announced two new golf themed cruises in the land where it all began, Scotland, aboard the Scottish Highlander hotel barge, May 10th and October 4th 2015. Golf-themed whole boat charters can be booked all season, but these designated cruises allow golfers who just want to book individual cabins to meet like-minded people. Other tours are available on these cruises for non-golfer guests.
European Waterways has declared the 2015 cruise season “the year of the family,” offering up to 10% off the price of whole boat charters on ten of its most popular hotel barges in the fleet. Since the vessels hold from just 8 to 12 passengers, chartering a hotel barge guarantees a personal, private holiday, with the option to modify family-friendly itineraries to meet the unique needs of the group.
European Waterways, has announced a last-minute special offer of $2,000 off per cabin for select departures on some of its most popular luxury hotel barges. The specials apply to the Anjodi, cruising the Canal du Midi, for departures on August 10th and 17th; La Belle Epoque on the Burgundy Canal, for departures on August 17th and 24th; and Rosa on the Canal de la Garonne in the Bordeaux region, for departures on August 10th, 17th, and 24th.
European Waterways, Europe’s largest luxury hotel barge cruising company, offers an array of cruises that immerse passengers in the cultural traditions of some of the most fascinating regions of Europe. Of these, the company’s relaxing hotel barge cruises along the historic Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provide guests with an especially wide range of opportunities.
Our 6-night cruises along the Canal du Midi in the South of France, departing on July 13, will give passengers the chance to celebrate Bastille Day, the French National Day, in true French style. Guests will be able to watch firework displays and join in the celebrations, perhaps from the deck of their hotel barge whilst being served champagne, or away from the crowds in a local village.
