Sunday, Walking cruise Day 1 - BÉZIERS You will be met at Chateau de Lignan Hotel in Beziers at 4pm. You will then be escorted by minibus to Anjodi for a Champagne Welcome aboard followed by an evening cruise across the impressive River Orb aqueduct and ascend the 100-foot flight of locks at Foncserannes. Dinner aboard
(Walking time 1.5 hours ) Monday, Walking cruise Day 2 - BÉZIERS to CAPESTANG A morning visit to Beziers' 13th Century fortified cathedral of Saint Nazaire, with a commanding view across to the Pyrenees Mountains. Explore l'Oppidum D'Enserune, a pre-Roman hilltop settlement with Greek and Iberian excavations dating from 600B.C. Afternoon cruise to Capstang and a canal side walk over the world's oldest tunnel at Malpas for a pre-dinner wine tasting at the Domaine de Guery. Dinner aboard
(Walking time 2 hours) Tuesday, Walking cruise Day 3 - CAPESTANG to LE SOMAIL Morning walk to l'Oppidum d'Enserune, a fascinating hilltop settlement complete with Greek and Iberian excavations. Afternoon cruise past La Croisade to Le Somail, where we moor near the old stone bridge. Fantastic walk through the gorges and caves by the River Cesse which circle the Minerve. Dinner aboard
(Walking time 2 hours)  Wednesday, Walking cruise Day 4 - LE SOMAIL to HOMPS Morning visit and walk around Minverve, ancient Minervois capital and 12th century fort surrounded by deep limestone gorges. A fascinating recreation in miniature of the bloodthirsty Cathar rebellion and small museum complete the intriguing picture. Walking tour of the village and hilltop locations affording spectacular views. Pre-lunch wine tasting followed by an afternoon cruise. This evening we dine ashore, at a charming canalside inn, in the heart of the village of Homps
(Walking time 3.5 hours) Thursday, Walking cruise Day 5 - HOMPS to MARSEILLETTE Morning excursion Narbonne. Visit the Archbishop's Palace and underground Horreum. Time to browse the many shops and excellent shaded fruit and vegetable market. Return to the barge for lunch and in the afternoon enjoy a canalside walk to Marisellette. Once we return to the barge we cruise to Marseillette followed by dinner onboard
(Walking time 2.5 hours)  Friday, Walking cruise Day 6 - MARSEILLETTE to TRÉBES Fascinating morning tour of Carcassonne. Dating back to the Gallo-Roman era, this is the most complete mediaeval, fortified city in existence today. With its 52 watchtowers, portcullis and extraordinary repertoire of defenses, which resisted the many armies that tried to, storm this Camelot setting, a walk aound La Cite ramports. Afternoon cruise to Trebes, through vineyards and pinetrees. Captain's Farewell Dinner aboard
(Walking time 1.5 hours) Saturday, Walking cruise Day 7 - TRÉBES to BÉZIERS After Breakfast, return to Beziers
