Our cruise on L'Impressionniste exceeded expectations in all ways, especially the food. Louis is a truly remarkable chef! We had no better food on our entire trip. Selection and presentation of wine were excellent too. Our cabin was very comfortable, and the service was so very friendly, personal and excellent. We enjoyed the smallness of our group, we were not over-scheduled and had time to sight-see on our own.

Mr. Delamater and I had a memorable experience aboard L'Impressionniste!

Our barge trip was delightful, and an oasis of cool relaxation in the midst of the heat wave! I cannot say enough in praise of the crew and staff. They were so personable, friendly and helpful....every day in every way. The chef was fantastic and each meal a culinary delight; especially so as he explained everything we were about to enjoy, including the wonderful wines.

All in all, it was a fine trip with extremely interesting passengers, beautiful scenery, and a smooth journey in cool comfort.

Once again....my sincere thanks for an outstanding trip!

We made it back to the states, but I left my heart in France. It was really hard going back to the "real world" and work today. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed the trip and the beautiful countryside. To be able to travel to the lesser known, but truly unique and wonderful, countryside was an experience everyone should experience at least once in his or her lifetime. John, you are an extraordinary chef. Each and every meal you prepared was magnificent Darrin and Barbara, you both took exceptional care of us. Barbara, you definitely are the "hostess with the mostest". Darrin, we certainly were in good hands with you as Neil's right hand man. Neil, there is just too much to mention individually as to your help and attention to every detail for this marvellous trip. You were the greatest captain we could have had. You all were so wonderful to us and the group unanimously agreed we would return only if we could have you as our crew again. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our "new French hearts" for a truly remarkable and memorable vacation.

No one has ever experienced a 75th Birthday such as I have - Your crew on L'Impressionniste, John, Neil, Darren, Pixie and Barbara were so wonderful to our family and gave us the most unforgettable week of our lives. It was the most perfect week I've ever had and all thanks the effort of your crew. John created unbelievable menus, Neil and Darren took us all on wonderful side trips and the girls were adorable, waiting on us constantly. We all hated to leave the barge and back to the real world-we felt we were leaving dear friends. Please express our thanks and gratitude to each of them for bringing such joy and pleasure into our lives.
