Western Isles Malt Whisky

The peat used in the drying of the malted barley is locally dug from shallow bogs, giving a young, rooty, heathery character to the whisky. 12-year-old: light yellow to deep straw in colour; flowery nose with vanilla and violets in plenty; low peat; medium wood with chocolate and malty flavours.
